Everyone has one - a candle that you absolutely love, probably received as a gift, but you just don't want to burn it. Because you love it. The container matches your sitting room; it's a beautiful ornament; the scent is divine; your favourite auntie bought it for you. And when you've burned it it will be gone forever, right? Wrong! Burn it! Candles are meant to be lit! Burn it.......then refill the container!

Burn it, enjoy it and then make your own replacement candle in the container.

Use this kit to create your own container candles using cups, mugs, recycled container candles and other heat resistant objects. The kit contains:

  • 1.5 metres of wick
  • 7 wick tabs
  • 500g Container candle wax
  • 5g Dye

There are enough materials in this recycling kit to make 2 tea-cup sized container candles. Just use Our guide to wick sizes. to choose the correct wick size for your container, choose a dye if you would like one, and a scent that takes your fancy. Watch our YouTube tutorial on making container (scroll down to view) candles and you'll receive a clear set of illustrated instructions with your kit too so you'll know exactly what to do. Making container candles really is very straightforward and you'll soon be enjoying your new container candle for the second time round!

Note: you can choose which wick you would prefer by selecting from the options above but the default choice (LX16) is suitable for most tea cup sized containers.

IMPORTANT: You can also add an optional scent at a discount on the cost of buying it separately.

Great product, makes a unique xmas present!

Arrived really quickly, products were well packaged and instructions easy to use! The cranberry smells fab and the colour is great - only problem is I was a bit unsure how much wax I needed per candle!

    Great Fun

Posted by Katie on 14th Nov 2012

I had a go at a trial candle which worked beautifully and am now in the middle of doing one in a tea cup for a birthday present for this weekend. It already looks fab and I am feeling quite proud of it and will be giving it away rather reluctantly. I have enough wax left to make a smaller coffee cup sized candle too. Will definitely be ordering more. The lavender smell is lovely too.

    Teacup candle

Posted by Linda on 13th Nov 2012

I have only tried my free micro pack as my order only arrived yesterday - monday - I found the instructions very clear and the product easy to use. My only fault is that I am a bit impatient and found the waiting for finale candle to set to long but other than that it's fantastic and I can't wait to get started with the rest of my order.

    I'm new to candle making

Posted by Helen Witty on 12th Nov 2012

I've now made half a dozen candles using the new wicks, and wax recovered from candles I have around the house combined in part with the purchased wax.
I'm very pleased with the results and can't think why I didn't try this before. I'm confident this won't be my last purchase

I am making my christmas presents this year, I have several teacups I thought I could turn into candles.

Having never made candles before the container candle kit is the perfect way to learn, easy to use and a great way to start.

    Top buy!

Posted by Unknown on 21st Oct 2012

I've never made candles before and thought I'd give it a try. It's so easy with this kit, the instructions are simple and easy to follow, the video is really helpful too. I will be making some more for personalized Christmas presents for friends and family. I got the vanilla scent too....smells gorgeous when making them!
