NGI have recently re-introduced the EcoSoya CB-Advanced wax for container candles. The wax now comes in pellet form, not flakes but performs in much the same way as the previous version. We have limited stock of this wax.

It is made from pure 100% soybeans and carefully selected botanical oils. It has a very smooth appearance, with an even burn pool, and consistent colour retention. It works well with dyes, and is highly frost resistant. It contracts slightly from the container, producing a beautiful looking candle. Good hot and cold scent throw. This wax now comes in small beads and although we have found little difference in its use compared to the old flakes we do recommend a test burn candle before you make lots with this new wax.

This is my favourite wax to work with, I think I will struggle to find a wax that behaves so well when this is no longer in production, great service from makingyourowncandles, will be back again

After much deliberation and consultation I decided on this wax to make my very first candles. It's easy to use and makes very nice candles.

I found the soy wax flakes easy to use. They melt and pour well and set to a luxurious creamy colour. I did have a few issues with the soy wax not adhering to the glass on a couple of my container candles but am wondering if warming the glass beforehand would have helped to prevent this. Although I am satisfied that these candles are a positive alternative to petroleum based candle wax I'd really appreciate a little more information about the source of these soy flakes if this is something you'd consider sharing in the future.
