How soon can I expect to receive my order?

There are two factors in this, firstly how quickly we process your order and secondly how long the post or courier service takes to deliver it to your address.

Unless otherwise stated in the product description, we aim to despatch all orders within one day. We will keep you fully up to date with your order's progress by email. 

We offer Subsidised Economy and Express delivery. We also, at times, offer Free delivery - in this case, your order will be sent via Economy methods. Free delivery only ever applies to mainland UK addresses.

Subsidised Economy

For economy shipping, we subsidise your mailing costs by charging you less than our carriers charge us. We think this is the fairest way to handle shipping rather than including the carriage costs in the product price and offering "free" shipping as most other online retailers do. Depending on size, some orders are shipped by Royal Mail Second Class post and others by courier. Both methods take between two and five working days. If you are likely to be out when the delivery arrives, please leave a comment saying where the package can be left on your premises (eg "behind the  garden gate").


Orders up to 2KG in weight are sent by Royal Mail First Class post. Orders over 2KG are sent by next day courier. In both cases, orders should arrive on the day after despatch. Express delivery is ONLY valid for MAINLAND England, Wales and Scotland (excluding Highlands).

  • by logging into your account by clicking "Sign in" and clicking "View Message". If your query is specifically about an order, this is the best way as it tells us which order it relates to
  • by emailing

If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please let us know promptly so that we can make a claim against the carriers. We will offer you the choice of a replacement or a full refund.
